View Full Version : 1994 Dodge Shadow $600

I bought this car back in August I do believe from the original owner "Orange Crusher" who bought it brand new from Greigers in Valpo in 1994.

Just under 128K miles on this 2.2L 4-banger with automatic trans....
The car is rusty and dirty. The paint is basically gone on the roof (kinda funy how it did it in racing stripe form though :laughing: )
It leaks from the valve cover a bit and the belt squeeks (typical chrysler)

It does have A/C but needs a new compressor but any 2.2L one from the junk yard will work.

It has new tries on the front and a brand new exhaust from the cat-back.

The trans may need the fluid changed or the TV cable adjusted?? It shutters when backing up and sometimes when you are stopped at a light, but drives like a dream!! I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere.

I have put 7K miles on it since I got it and have averaged between 30-34mpg with this little sucker!!
If your like me and spend about $125 a week in gas driving your pick-up to work, then this will be a life saver and pay for it's self ASAP!!

It cost's about $30 to fill it up and will get about 300-325 miles on a tank.

I took all the pics I could and well what ya see is what ya get.

ALso, upone further investigation it looks like maybe just a motor mount is busted??

My beater is frozen to the ground.... tried getting it out of the barn yesterday.... I broke 2 tow straps.... :cry:

I'm sorry to butt in here but if its a 94
would it not be a 2.5 motor ???
I thought in 89 they all came with
the common block 2.5 .

Sorry just my .02.

Thats odd mines pushing 250K and still kickin! It will fall apart from rust before it breaks down!:yup:

If it is a base model Shadow, and not an ES, you were given the option of a 2.2L, OR a 2.5L...:D
