I have a 496" BBC for sale. The bottom end is a forged Eagle rotating assembly with the JE/SRP pistons that you can buy from Summit/Jegs etc. Intake is a Team G, GM block, MSD billet distributor. The current cam is a .652" lift and duration is 262/262 @ .050, LSA is 110. Car has 70lbs+ oil pressure at idle. The heads are GM units with roller lifters and a stud girdle. I'm selling the engine minus the carb, water pump, starter, and belt drive, but I can put a timing chain on for you if needed.
This engine in a 2700 lb car went 9.90's @ 125 w/ 1.41 60ft and sliding a few times down the track (bad tires) and hitting the rev limiter a few hundred feet before the finish line as it has an 1/8th mile gear in it. The previous owner with better 60 ft's has been 6.15 in the 1/8th and was running 5.90's in the eigth with a .730" cam. I do have videos of the car a couple weeks ago @ 41 and if necessary, I could take car to track and click off a nice pass with it for serious buyers and can take better pics as this was all I had :)
I'm looking for $3500 for the engine as mentioned above.
