Personally, I think it would be pretty cool to bring some cars up to Detroit. I've been there (can't say I liked it :laughing: ) but never with a car. Always wanted to check out the huge cruise anyway . . . and it would be fun to do some racin too! :yup: Of course, I ain't got shit for you big dawgs . . .

you should bring some cars up to woodward, that whole week is killer....everynight like 7days before the cruise its crazy there, and at night its even better...good times for sure...there are like 4-5 pretty big cruises around here in the summer, car shows every night of the week...that why we have to keep em street cars to drive them around every night, and every gas station sells race gas.... :D

Guys are always lookin for a easy payday, if they can get one. And you do have to think twice about a car that's in brought from out town. They're usually not lame ducks. I guess if you look long and hard enough (like you did) you can find a race. I have'nt found one in two year. that's why I started showing my times, And will start bracket racing next year.
I'll have to make a scouting trip to Detroit next year. I met a few guys from there in St Louis this past september. I will be make the trip for the woodward Cruise as well :yup: But in the mean while, I'll be picking on you guys until sping.

There many cars to choose from, not every car here is super fast . we have 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 seconds car to race. a race is a race, fast or slow..

He makes a lot of HP, but look at the 3nd vid, on the big end he's puttin out a lil smoke, like you when running nitrous. A vid is a great tuning aid. Nitrous or not he runs good :yup:

august 19th 2006....but the whole week before hand is crazy, around 10-11 at night they shut woodward down because it gets so packed and traffic cant move...thats when the racing happens after that...

it has always been about a freindly race, never any $$ involved, so why not run me heads up?? that has been my argument from day one. and if you want to say i pussied out, thats fine, i like to look at it like it really wasn't worth my time to run you all motor because i know i had you covered even with giving you the bust, so i simply wasn't going to sit in another 2 hour line. period.
as far as next year, yes my car will still be a pump gas street driver, as always, and if you want to hot lap them, thats fine, mine is usually at 180 after a pass, but you won't be able to catch me in order to hit me, but you can try.
by the way, it takes alot more than having a fast car to gain respect.

it has always been about a freindly race, never any $$ involved, so why not run me heads up?? that has been my argument from day one. and if you want to say i pussied out, thats fine, i like to look at it like it really wasn't worth my time to run you all motor because i know i had you covered even with giving you the bust, so i simply wasn't going to sit in another 2 hour line. period.
as far as next year, yes my car will still be a pump gas street driver, as always, and if you want to hot lap them, thats fine, mine is usually at 180 after a pass, but you won't be able to catch me in order to hit me, but you can try.
by the way, it takes alot more than having a fast car to gain respect.
