Any i deas of what this could be?
Stock 99 Z28 with a whisper lid, If i launch the car off a foot brake, at about four grand the engine is still pullin RPM's but the car falls on its face...The car will rev to 6 grand all day but after 4 grand the front end drops and goes nowhere till it hits second and there on after... But it is inconsistent. Doent always do it sometimes it feels strong..
THING IVE ALREADY REPLACED OR DONE
-Brand new GM performance parts 4L560E (warranty)
-Fuel filter
-fuel pump
-Brand new converter (warranty)
-Cleaned mass air
Also have had the computer scanned several times, and nothin comes up
ANY IDEA"S

to me it feels like the trans is slippin at high rpms. like the line pressure me be set too low.

I had that same problem with my old firebird I had to get a custom chip burned for it,It sounds like the same problem :dunno:

recheck your grounds.
it sounds like you may have a loose injector ground wire.(wont allow the injectors to function properly)
if someone had the trans out they may have relocated the ground.sometimes not a good idea.

watch the tach and see if the rpms jump/spike.that will let you know if it is slipping

Its like in 1st gear the thing will rev to 6 g all dat butthe car stops pullin at 3500-400 grand. but sometimes when it hits second the thing sounds like its flooded and just like stalls

thats exactly what it did at 4500 it started slippin then it free revved and held it 6000.
the car leaves good and feels strong until then
