OK, let's try this again. Car is a 93GT Hatch, bright blue with titanium lower and factory sunroof. Car has aftermarket foglights and 1993 Cobra taillights along with Pony rims. Previous idiot owner had those damn chrome wheel lips :barf: on the car, attached with drywall screws, so there are 3 minor rust spots per wheelwell which 3 have been treated with RustStop and the 4th has been "temporarily" repaired with color-matching paint. To fix, only the wheel lips would need repainted, a very small job for a good shop. There are assorted minor dings around the car, as expected for 13 years old. Interior-wise, the car has mint black leather 98 Cobra seats in front, and I have the rear Cobra seat as well to go with the car. I was going to have an upholstery shop put the Cobra leather over onto the GT foams so it will all match but haven't gotten around to it. Interior plastics are Opal Gray/Black, and the carpet has been replaced with black ACC replacement. The trunk area is still gray, however. Also has a B&M Hammer console ratchet shifter. Power windows, power locks, Air conditioning (needs converted/recharged), heater control valve needs replaced. Mechanically, it's got 108k on a stock longblock, 6000-mile old water pump and Black Magic electric fan, Powermaster XS Torque starter, 1.72 Scorpion pedestal mount rockers, Granatelli 75mm Bullet, Texas Turbo ram air kit, underdrives, unknown brand equal length headers, 6000-mile old catted Dr. Gas X Pipe (yes it passes emissions!!), and a 3-chamber Flowmaster catback. With the T5 in it, I got it to go a 13.83@96.7 with a 1.901 60' on an 88* day. Now for the good stuff. The T5 bit the dust, and I was tired of F***ing with trannies, so it's got a brand new, 0-mile Art Carr "Extreme" AOD with a 2900 stall 9.5" Billet converter (cost me $2400 by the time everything was said and done). It's got all the goodies, brand new SFI flexplate, ARP bolts, brand new blockplate, deep pan, locking dipstick, 30,000GVW tranny cooler with fan, braided steel -6AN lines, a brand new 3.5" aluminum driveshaft, and braided steel brake lines too. I also have a bunch of parts I'd like to go with the car since they were collected with it, but if the buyer really doesn't want them we can work something out. I've got a set of Motorsport 3.73s, a set of Texas Turbo longtube headers, a REAL GT40 intake, a speed density computer with a Stage 2 Jet Chip, Yella Terra 1.72 adjustable pedestal mount shaft rockers, and a Powermaster 140Amp alternator. Now, for the not so good: the car is not currently driveable, although I do have 99% of the finishing parts required. All that is needed is to connect the factory AOD cable (have it) to the shifter lever with the tricky little obsolote Ford piece(have it), install a locknut on it so the cable actually shifts the tranny (need it), install 2 bolts to hold the cable into the shifter housing (need it), reinstall the X-pipe (needs new header and muffler bolts), and tack-weld the new Motorsport crossmember in place since you have to do it to all the new ones. Another bonus with the car is right now it is still wearing a set of useable Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires, the car will come with (2) 255/50/16 BFG Drag Radials and (2) 225/55/16 Yokohama AVS ES 100s for the front, which have less than 500 miles on all 4 tires. With all the new parts and other performance parts, along with $500 in nearly new tires, I'd like to get $4500 from everything listed. If you just want the car itself with what is attached to it, meaning none of the listed extraneous performance parts or the set of DR's and Yokohamas, I'd like $3600 since the tranny alone is worth $2500. Overall I'd personally rate the car about a 7-7.25, but with the minor rust spots fixed and the whole deal buffed out it would probably rate at least an 8.5-8.75 on the clean scale. I will get some pics taken tomorrow, but feel free to email me at laserredcobra@aol.com with any questions until then. Car is located in Portage, IN, and must be picked up on location with a trailer or tow truck depending on how far away you live. Title is clean and in-hand waiting to exchange for money. I hate to have to part with it but I simply don't have the time to finish and enjoy it like I should between going to school full time and working at the local dragstrip. Thanks!
