buddy of mine is putting together a 396 for his 67 chevelle. we were checking the valve train and the guide plates are way off. I went to the World Casting web site and didn't find any info on his exact set of heads, but some where in the tech section it mentioned this allignment and that you might have to bend the guide plates. Has anyone done this before and do you have any special technique to do so?:dunno: I didn't make him loosen the studs yet but how they are in there right now, the things are way off.
