Goodyear 30X10.5, D-5 compound(stickey!) 3 passes only $250 for both, Jegs price $210 EACH. You won't find a better deal than that! Just a little too big for my application. Will trade for 29X10.5's any brand, in same condition.

I have a set of M/T 15x29.5x10.5W with only about 10 or 12 passess on them. I brought them new from whites in 05. I know for not doing much of a burnout. I've only needed to clean the tires off.
maybe the extra 1/2" of clearence, will help Ya.
Let me know.

Thanks X but I can't use the 10.5W's. Are you sure they are the W's? If they are not, I might be interested. I can't find anyone who makes a 29x10.5:think:
I may have to just notch my quarters to fit the 30's:dunno:

Yeah, they're W's!!! Sorry!
I cut 1" out of my panels, and still needed an 1/2" more. :yup:
M/T say @ 150mhp the tire height increases 1 1/2". I didn't have to worry about that, but I think they rubbed during burnouts.

One thing to remember after you stretch it and want to put a 28 on it, it will look out of place.... I can fit a 14 x 32 on mine if needed be.... But there is no putting on a 28.....

Hoosier makes a 29x10 slick which measures the same as a M/T 29.5. hoosiers 29 is about 1/2" shorter. Hope this helps.

I was just about to say that, I've got a Hoosier 29x10.0 on my car and the tread with on that slick is the = of the 29x10.5 MT but without all that side wall bubble:yup:

NOW I'M REALLY CONFUSED:think:
A Hoosier 29x10 is the same as a M/T 29.5,
Hoosier 29 is a 1/2 inch shorter.
Is it the same or is it shorter? I'm not being a smartass, I need to get some rims and tires on this car and I'm tired of buying stuff that doesn't fit!:pissed:I need:help:
The 1/2 shorter, did you mean the width?

The car has minitubs so sidewalls aren't a big concern, it's the diameter. Does the tire measure 29" and do you know how much it grows? This sounds like a good option for me.

Its the same width from what I measured but the height:dunno:
There isnt a tire shop in your area that will mount the slicks on your car so you can take measurements:dunno:

Yeah, but I dont have rims or tires yet. I borrowed N2OJunkies 29x13.5 hoosier streets and they fit well other than needing 1"more of B/S on the rim. It has 6 1/2 now I would need 7 1/2" B/S to tuck the tire in a little more to lower the rear about 2". Or shorten the rearend, more money:wack:

The M/T tire actually measures 29.9" in diamater were as the Hoosier is I believe 29.4" in diamater. Sorry it sounded confusing the first time. Hope this makes more sense to you now.

Are they for sale? I would like to try them out if you don't mind. I had the Goodyear 30x10.5 on a 12" rim with 5 1/2"BS, they fit pretty good just a little too tall. The 7 1/2"BS may be just right.:yup:

Have you seen any smaller street tires without that bubble?
