Cars coming along slowly. My wife and I just had our third boy last weekend, so been a little busy...

BUT - I am hoping to get the thing on the street by mid May. Then we'll see about chaos after that. I'll probably be drivin it.

My block is sitting in the garage, but I'm not exactly sure if I want to invest any money into a block that will most like eventually fail on me. :wow: Probably just gonna fill it with hard block and hope for the best. :dunno:

They say a stock block will last a good time, as long as you keep the R's under 7000 :yup: But I guess that would hurt ET. :yup:
Just remember, You don't have to run your best ET all the time :nono: Just when it counts. $=:D
But they also say, if you can afford it, it's best to get the after market block!! If I ever hurt mine, that's the way I'll go!!! :yup: That way I can use a fogger :eek: for all those BB guys!!!
The good thing is, with the new block all your machine work is already done!! :yup:

I have most of the engine parts, i still need to make up the pistons and buy the valve train. well, yes and no... jason's car is a big tire radical monster! mines bone stock! the body style is similar, but mine is a '65, but thats where the similarities end. mine is a very stock looking restoration, stock suspension and interior, with a very mild big block. this one will see alot of street miles! and maybe even hot rod's drag week!....very mild. by the way, x, it will be a factory light blue metallic, with a stock blue interior, still not back from the body shop:cry: ...pics soon!
