Well, I figured I'd bring this thread back from the dead, seeing how X is supposed to finally be ready to do this...AFTER FIVE FRICKIN' MONTHS OF DOING GOD KNOWS WHAT to that machine of his. Calipers only make you slow down...you don't need that...better trade them in on some go-fast parts!!! What the hell did you need those for anyways? 41 has a long enough shut down area that you could probably coast to a stop with your trap speeds!!!:sleep:

IT WAS!!!!!! :D



I won't spray my car until I work out all the bugs.

In the three years I've raced the old combo, I've only used nitrous 3 times!!!

The first time, I bend the perches and broke the yoke on the rear end.

The second time, was a 1000ft ran, at a Ten0 event.

The last time, was at the last SSC event.
I had the timer set @ 0.40, and when the nitrous came on, it pushed the car left (to the guardrail) so I had to lift.

So, It not that my car is gonna run quicker, It just may take a full year before I find out the likes & dislikes of the new combo. :yup:

Well 2 reasons..main reason is I am on dial-up and second when the car came down it bent the header into the clutch linkage and slipped bad only run a 10.12 I think..really nothing to see..
This year I have a new rear suspension,new advance clutch's clutch,new wheels and car is lighter so hoping for mid 9's over 140....should have run mid 9's last year based on the mph but car needed alot of work and I was using the clutch pedal......I hope I have it taken care of now....
I will post some full vids eventually....
