Hey ya'll,

i'm probably one of the first back from SCC 1 06 already, but my shit broke and i got sick of watching fuckin bike after bike and that stupid ass fuckin van.

Anyway...to summarize in short of what happened.

spun in first, shifted to second, caught...heard a clunk limped it down the track.

driving it home, it pulls to the right when i give it gas to move from a stoplight/shift gears, etc. Pulls really bad to the left whenever i let off of the gas.

Thinking either A. i snapped some teeth on the GM factory gears, or i trashed my limited slip unit...its all kinds of fucked up right now.

BTW: if any of you were in the stands around 7:30ish when i ran the second time...i was the 2000 Black Regular Cab Stepside Silverado....tomorrow i get to actually find out whats wrong when i can get to my other shop and put it up on the x-lift.

So how was your guys' night overall?

Dave

eh....daily driver yes, bites the dust? already having a friend bring a set of richmond 3.73's tomorrow along with an auburn posi unit...i opened the bottom of the diff cover and i could see some metal pieces in the fluid....sucks balls but oh well.

Break it, fix it with stronger components, go out June 17th and hope it holds.

took off the diff today on my x-lift...the factory G80 grenaded itself. One of my drive teeth is damaged from the gears of the G80 laying in the bottom of the diff.

Richmond is a stronger gear because of them being thicker. What would you suggest for a posi-unit then? I'm not pushing high HP...maybe 305 at the crank (far out there estimate)...i'm not building my rearend yet, when i save up enough money i'll call and get a strange rear, im just trying to get the rear capable of holding more power as a twin screw is in the works for august (im not too worried about what people know i have cuz its nothin to brag about yet).
