Got home around 4am from the first SCC of the year. Not a bad deal if I do say so... Got to mean PK finally as he jumped in and gave me a hand. THANKS PK!

There was some issues I had. TOO MANY FRICKIN SPECTATOR CARS IN THE PITS!!! I know its hard t police, especially when they but a tech card but dont use it. But In just my general area alone, I counted 8 cars with no #'s in the window. Is there any way to police it? Besides getting a tow truck ad just yanking cars all night?


I liked the idea of checking cars at the gates for beer, but I think thats what caused the HUGE ass line to get in. At one point, I would have sworn the line stretched clear back to Rt41. I know it was over the track...


Now before any of you go and start bashing the track for not working... My last pass at 41 last year was 8.11@169.. First pass of the year this year was 8.24@168.. The track was working real good when I made my run..


Anyways.. Dont know if I am going to bring the car to any more SCC events. Things were a bit too out of control for me last night.. But thats what it was supposed to be, so no bashing intended. I was wanting to get out of there a bit earlier than the 1:30am that I did and couldnt (see above). Now I myself might come to a couple more.

it wasn't really the checking for beer or anything causing the line, just to many people showing up at once from what i saw.

Major thumbs up though to keeping people out of the staging lanes. Was so nice not to have 500 people that had no buisness there standing in the way.
