Swanson's Performance is now offering thermal and ceramic coatings for external engine parts such as headers, exhaust pipes, mufflers, intake manifolds, radiators, heat exchangers, intake piping, turbo housings, you name it! We have both thermal barriers and thermal dispersants (gets rid of heat) to help manage temperatures on both race cars and street cars! It's looking like a little less than 2 weeks turnaround right now as we get started on this and should come down a little as we progress, and we're working on a generalized price list without custom stuff that needs quotes. I'll post that here soon. Yes, there is going to be a warranty, we're currently checking with the company that supplies the coating materials to see what they recommend. They're one of the largest thermal/ceramic/dry film lubricant coatings manufacturers in the world, so quality is not going to be an issue :nono:

Ok, here's our guarantee in writing, which is right in line with industry standards yet at a better price with better service!!

3 year rust/corrosion guarantee on exhaust coatings when applied to new headers or exhaust manifolds. The guarantee would be limited by physical, chemical or beyond temperature range damage. Areas where pipes are touching or joined together as not to allow application of coating would not be included. The guarantee only covers the reapplication of a thermal coating and does not include replacement of the part.

Used parts are accepted for coating but are not covered by the 3-year warranty. Used parts must be reasonably clean and oil-free to avoid additional cleaning charges. All parts will be media blasted before coating. Rush jobs (~3 day turnaround) are available for a surcharge based on the size of the job and the coating being applied.
