Hey ya'll,

so i was wonderin, what do the cops at SCC do? it doesn't seem like they enforce much, not tryin to diss them, just wondering what there purpose is?

Cuz when the group of people i was with, my friend was racin the silver/white 700R raptor, we were walkin back at 1:45am to leave and we saw about 6 people smokin/rollin/dealin weed.

If you ask me thats not a very family friendly enviroment, i got a couple of them on video tape and they were drivin a white crown vic or the counterpart of the crown vic.

Just tryin to see what was the deal with them, as im totally opposed to drugs and if some of my friends were to bring there little bro's and sis's then it wouldn't be a good example for them.

:pissed: to be honest they are there to take denny's money and watch the races instead of patroling the grounds

I am pretty sure SCC is not a family event. You need to come out on a reg friday or the bracket show.

People choose to do different things. They really should keep it hush hush. But in that note let them get all fucked up and then try and set up some races, they will be chilled, little slow, and easy to get a win from. Shit this works in everyones adavantage. LOL

Yes BS to have drugs at a public race track. but go to disney bet someone is smoking the shit in the bathrooms, it is everywhere. Welcome to 2006, btw Could be worse they could doing meth or crack or any of the HARDCORE shit. Potheads don't bug me, hell I laugh at them and can tolerate them more then any drunkerd. Never been around to many twichers. But I sure they would drive me nuts sorta like my kids not sitting still in the movies. Wait time to drug test my kids? LMAO Not they are 3,5, & 8

I agree...well said. Not to mention there's always gonna be some arguing going on along with alot of fowl language. I definitely feel that an SCC event really isn't a place for the children. I also seen what appeared to be teenagers with beers in their hands. But I mean, what can you really do about it...you surely can police every single person there.

I disagree my kids love this event,If I go they go.That is the problem ,we let the people that break laws and fuck ups ruin it for the people that are there for the game.I would rather tell someone to stop doing something fucked up than tell my kids they cant go watch legal racing:cool:

Well you have to be responseable parent and not put your kids in that situation. Kinda like going to watch a boxing match vs a cage fight. You know that its a street race event and that is going to bring in the gamblers, which is a crime. Along with that you know comes drugs and thugs. So please do not act like you are not aware of the scene there.

Not trying to be rude just you need to pick and choose to put your kids a safe productive enviroment. Hell if you did drugs or not SCC still corrupts the mind. It is not the enviroment I want for my children but when they become conciesous adults or so to speak they can choose there own actions and are at an age they can deal with the mental strain that is stowed upon them at a "underground in sorts" event. that make any sense?

Yes it does I know what your talkin about.Im different, If someone is doing something in front of my child im the type of person that will tell that person to go somewhere else and do it.Its a public facility and event, who has more right to be there my child or a dope.Im not trying to argue either but im not gonna let someone mess it up for me or my kids either

Yea, don't get me wrong, I have no problems at all with the kids being there. But we all know, people are drinking, cussing and all that sort of stuff and it's just my opinion that it really isn't the best place for the kids to be. That's all I'm trying to say. :yup: :D

I got a question.
Why are they selling wrist bands at the gate to get into the staging lanes ? Just give the driver enough bands for his crew or put a limit on the number of wrist bands. There seems like there is too many people (not racers or crew) in the lanes, and around the water box. Who ever isn't racing shouold be in the stands or the pits. Not only that I have seen kids out in the lanes and by the water box.

The track makes more money!

I understand the track makes more money, but then that still crowds the lanes.
