American Muscle Car is the class for you. It's an index class with ets ranging from 9.00 to 15.50 in .25 increments. Make a few test passes and then pick your index. You can change it through the second round of qualifying and then it's up to you to hit the number. Everyone runs together on a handicapped full tree. You can read the rules at http://nsca-racing.net/rules_american_muscle.html
The bad boy in the class is defending champion Scott Williams. Awesome big block 65 Chevelle. Runs 9.50's or 9.75's depending on the track very consistently. He won at Edgewater. Several other hitters in the class as well. Come on out!

I have a 79' Malibu with a SBC N/A 93 octane motor in it stock 23* heads do you have a heads up pump gas class for this car? The car has all of the stock interior minus head liner with a 8 point cage. I am really only interested in racing a heads up class with 93 octane fuel N/A. The car has 28-11.5-15 Hoosier QTP on it now that is a dot tire but not a radial.

I know Dennis I read them a few times but my simple little mind can't quite figure them out as they are very broad.

You may want to take a look at the rules for one of our special programs sponsored by RollingThunderz. It is a Pump Gas class with three categories depending on performance.

The Pump Gas Challenge is a Drag Racing Series for Street Legal High Performance Muscle Cars.
This race series is intended to bring back that era when a muscle car owner could drive or tow a street legal car to the drag strip to enjoy a great day of heads up drag racing competition.
The Pump Gas Challenge offers a wide range of racing opportunities with three classes of competitive drag racing. These three race categories consist of 1 class that has an 11.50 minimum elapsed time performance limit and 2 more classes that have unlimited performance opportunities.
The three Pump Gas Challenge drag racing classes are as follows:
Premium Street Class – 11.50 Index Class is for all cars that do not have roll bar safety equipment.
Supreme Street Class – Unlimited Performance with maximum 28” tall D.O.T tire. Pump Gas Only.
Ultra Street Class – Maximum 13.5” width sidewall designated D.O.T tire. Octane additive allowed.

Hey GMCRACER, will you be running one of your cars in Street Machine? Seems like a good fit if I remember correctly.
