Yes it is. I'm sure it will make a huge difference. I believe the 6-AL just didn't have the balls for my motor, could explain the engine breaking up all night.

I still have the blaster 2 coil on. You think the sales person, who is supposed to be knowledgable, would have told me that. Now I have to go get the coil instead of just going to the garage and finishing it all at once.:pissed: The instructions suggest the HVC or HVCII, any idea which would be better? I'm guesing the HVCII because it's a newer coil:dunno:

You were so right. After seperating all of the wires I won't use, it wasn't too much more than the 6-AL:p: Except that I lost the wiring diagram with the DK Blue and Grey wires left:cuss: I know one is the trans brake(launch rpm) and the other?????? maybe the revburn? I can't fucking remember! I'm not too happy tonight. I could have had this fucker finished:pissed:

damn, after reading those directions, this thing sounds very impressive:yup: it sounds like you can program it to scratch your ass for you while going down the track, but like someone else said on here, how much of it do you really use:dunno:

Not even half. That's the fucked up part about the directions. All this shit has basic settings, but what if I don't want to use it at all? How do I turn certain things off, like the 'slew rate' and individual cylinder timing?

I guess you call this accessory overload:spaz2:

SLEW RATE ?? Where is that ? i looked couldnt find.

Ya, and you guys think this wiring is tough. When I set up mine i wired it so I could "toggle" the "time switch and RPM switch" with either the Plate OR the fogger. OF course you couldnt do them both at the same time.

That's my next step....

I need to run both plates through a micro (so I can shut off if need be) and use a timer for the second stage..... All that and I want them to come on when I get off the trans brake....

Seems like a winter time project.... :drunk:

not that I can find the directions..... but I am running a 7531 box

Well it took me an hour to find them but dammit here are the 7531 directions including the slew rate.....

heres alittle help George

isn't the full throttle switch for using with a transbrake?
i see there is 3 prongs on the switch, one common, one that is activated at full throttle, then the other dosn't open until push button is released(transbrake button)?

Cold Fusion was nice enough to post these on their site.... Now I need to figure out how to hook it up to the 7531....

One is for a single with a brake and one with a dual stage with a brake and a timer....

SLEW RATE ?? Where is that ? i looked couldnt find it.
I do believe the Slew Rate, that I bitched so much about, saved me from blowing up my motor today. What the slew rate does is restricts the engine from accellerating at an overly rapid rate. In my case, I shifted into drive at 9000 rpm and the trans let go. I did notice the engine rev up, but the ignition box only alowed the engine to rev at a predetermined amount, giving me enough time to let off of the gas. But having it set so low hurt my 60' by not letting the converter flash (or engine rev) like it should have when I let go of the trans-brake. Oh well, I'll take a shitty 60' over a blown motor anyday. I'll try to have the trans fixed by the next SCC. Theres a certain copper colored Camaro I have a date with:yup:
