What are you guys using for brakes, I have been thinking of a disc upgrade for the rear and maybe some lightweight race brakes for the front. My car isn't a flyweight, it is over 3200 lbs., and all the man. except strange recommend a "heavy duty" kit that comes with the 3/4 thick vented rotors front and rear, instead of the racy lightweight 3/8 thick stuff. I am planning on 4 piston calipers and this is a drag only car. Watcha think??

go for it...it will work nicely:yup: i heard quite a few stories about aerospace brakes and how they don't like to stop, at least on anything that runs real fast

I got Wilwood HD fronts and stock rear drums that are in good working condition. With the stock 4whl drums, I would cross the line at 120-123 mph and had a hard time stopping, not to mention the steering wheel pulling hard to the left when the brakes were applied. Now with the new front disk brakes and almost 30mph faster, the car stops AWESOME and straight as an arrow.
