Hey Doc....
I have a POS blower Camaro with 2 modified vacuum secondary 750 carbs (3310).
I've slabed the shafts, installed button heads, milled the choke horn off, installed
necked down vent tubes, run a DIY stub stack, and modified the booster venturis.
I runs 13.50 @ 105 mph as shown below. Do you think I would pick up any hp with
(2) 850 hp carbs?

A car that lifts the wheels like that, runs better then 13 seconds!!!
If not, something is wrong!!!! And two 850s won't fix it!!!
Need more info!!!

468 CID, 6-71 roots blower, AFR Magnum heads, small street roller, on gasoline @ 27% overdrive.
I usually have pretty good luck with the Holley technical email, but couldn't even get a response on this one. Seems most no one wants to talk to ya once you touch a carb with a machine tool.
It's really not that big a deal. I used a narrow band O2 sensor and worked it back to a steady AFR. Even a narrow band O2 works like magic!
Here's a couple shots of the carb modifications.

nice pink motor haha. i think you would be better off with 2 850, or even 950 hp holleys, with mechanical secondarys. when your forcin all that air in your going to need more gas.. might even want to try a dominator flange on there.

Holley HP 950s is the way to go!!!
And wouldn't Ya know....... I have 1 like new 950 for sale. :yup:
The nice thing about the HP 950 is the removable air bleeds.

I think the venturis in an 850, 950, or dominator are 1/16th larger than the 750s I'm using. If I remember correctly the 850 hp blower carbs are made for small blocks with 6-71's and the 950 hp blower carbs are for 8-71's on a big block. Both leave me some where in the middle.
I'd like to try any of them but they are cost prohibitive, I'd think I'm giving up a good 20 hp. Sure would be nice to know before I dump $1500 bucks into a couple carbs:dunno:
I really like the 750 dominators with annular discharge.

Small roller? Sounds *way* overcarbed--yes, over. Ditch the junk ass vac secondary paperweights, try a single 850 race carb in you don't rev the car beyond 6K. Over 6K, step up to a single dominator. Just my know-nothing $.02.

Yikes, at 27% over and 7500 engine rpm that's over 9,000 blower rpm. Somehow a single 850 just ain't going to GIT-R-DUN!:scared:
