lifter size

Can someone please mic a small block chevy lifter for me. I have a rare olds block and cannot find lifters for it. the lifter bore mics out at .8415 and the smallest available olds lifter is .8422 and it won't fit, I tried. I may end up honing the lifter bores:dunno:

Do you think a brake cylinder hone would work? And what kind of clearance do you need on a lifter?:dunno:

I would have a shop do it because they have a lifter bore jig

I would have a shop do it if I were to bush it, but if I just hone it to fit the lifters that Mondello sent me, I would only have to hone it .0007+whatever the clearance needs to be. I should be able to just hone the lifter bore that much, don't you think:think: :dunno:
I'm going to call Mondello tomorrow and see if he has the correct lifters first. He is THE OLDS GOD ya know:yup: (even though he sent me the wrong lifters):cry:
